Celery Leaved Lovage resembles carrot-like plants in that it produces whitish or brownish pedicels, short flower stalks at the top of the plant.  It can be found from Washington to California, predominately in the coastal region and grows best in well drained soil.  This variety grows at low elevations on wooded slopes and grassy meadows.
