Basketflower
A thistle like plant that has a sweet fragrence and makes a beautiful cut flower. The flower heads range from 4 to 5 inches wide. The name basketflower comes from the underside of the flower head which is straw colored and gives the appearance of a basket. These flowers bloom in late spring to early summer. Growth is best when planted in partial shade and in dry soil.
